While the transfer window is closed in England, that has not stopped clubs from identifying players who could be signed in the future.
And one man potentially being lined up for a move to the Premier League once the transfer window reopens is Celtic centre-forward Moussa Dembele.
While the transfer window is closed in England, that has not stopped clubs from identifying players who could be signed in the future.
And one man potentially being lined up for a move to the Premier League once the transfer window reopens is Celtic centre-forward Moussa Dembele.
According to French newspaper La Provence (via Daily Mirror), Arsenal were interested in bringing Dembele to the Emirates back in 2017 and may look at the possibility again at the start of the new year.
However, if that does not happen and Arsenal’s apparent interest does materialise into something formal, then Celtic should ask for Danny Welbeck to be included in any potential deal.
With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette at his disposal, Unai Emery is unlikely to ever use £13.5m-rated (via Transfermarkt) Welbeck as a striker, while his chances of playing out wide are also limited with the new Arsenal head coach even struggling to get both Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the side.
With that in mind, a move away from the Emirates could be in Welbeck’s best interest, and Celtic could provide the 27-year-old with the platform to finally thrive as a No.9 on a consistent basis.

A move to Celtic would be great for Danny !! He has given Arsenal honest service and deserves to play regularily.
Great move for Danny fit right into there team
This is the best news as Denny would shine for Celtic, and he would further his career, great replacement and would think a better player.
