De Gea could finally join Real Madrid at the end season

Manchester United Goalkeeper, David De Gea has been desperately thinking about a possible transfer to Real Madrid and recent reports states that this season will be his last season with the Red Devils.

The 27-year-Old Spaniard is currently spending his seventh season with the Red Devils, and is said to be thinking lately about going back to his home country Spain.

After a transfer deal to the famous Santiago Bernabeu failed to go through in the summer of 2015, De Gea was reported to be stricken with grief as he got very emotional, signing a new deal with the Reds two weeks later after getting stuck on options to choose from.

Now according to reports, De Gea’s agent, Jorge Mendes has recently calmed the Spaniard about finding a broker move for the player to the Santiago Bernabeu at some point in his career, and De Gea seems to have put some faith in his trustworthy agent.

Real Madrid has been forever linked to De Gea for more than three summers, but a deal failed to go through as they continually failed to replace Keylor Navas, and this winter they seem to be eyeing Atletic Bilbao goal-stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga after deal with De Gea seems impossible.

A possible transfer for Athletic goalkeeper, Arrizabalaga also won’t be going through as the Spanish-born put pen to paper on a deal with his Spanish club.

De Gea was said to be delight and happy at Old Trafford and has express his feelings about the Manchester club he said (as quoted by the Daily Mirror):

“Yeah, time flies by doesn’t it?

“When you think I’m in my seventh season now, I’m really, really happy with all my time here.

“A lot has happened, you know, mostly all really good. One or two things not quite so good, but I’m very happy.

“I came here as a kid and I’m a man now both on and off the field.

“From a football point of view and in my own life as well. Looking back, it’s been seven fantastic years.”

Mourinho has been desperate to keep the Spanish goalkeeper at Manchester United, with offering him another contract deal, but the shot-stopper is unlikely to reject a new offer as he eyes move to the Los Blancos.
