According to report from the Daily Mirror, Premier League giants Liverpool are reportedly set to sign France international Nabil Fekir this summer.
The Premier League club, who lost 3-1 to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final last month, have been severally linked with a move for the Lyon skipper ahead of the 2018-19 season.
Fekir, 24, has registered 11 appearances for France, netting superb 23 goals and registered 40 assists across all competitions for the Ligue 1 giants.
The forward, who is a youth graduate of the Ligue 1 outfit, has scored a total of 57 goals in 153 appearances for the club.
However, Fekir is also thought to be happy to wait until after the forthcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup finals in Russia before sealing his transfer to the Premier League.
The midfielder, however, is said to be contracted with Lyon until the summer of 2020 and according to Transfermkt, he’s valued at £54 million.
It’s believed talks are positive in Liverpool signing the player to Anfield this summer, as long as they meet with the club’s asking price, with Fekir said to be 100 per cent decided on joining Liverpool this summer.
