Championship star and Swansea winger Daniel has Owen James officially agreed to personal terms with Manchester United ahead of a potential move in the summer, according to reports.
The reports revealed that both parties are still negotiating on a transfer fee, but the talks keep going on as the youngster is set to be the Red Devils’ first summer signing.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is also reported to be keen on landing the winger by all means this sunmer as his club is close to agree on a transfer fee wortg £15 million.
James was reported to be close to joining Championship rivals Leeds United back in Janaury winter transfer window, claiming that the Welshman was already at Elland Road awaiting to be unveiled by the club only for the deal to fall through in the last minute.
James, who still has a year left on his contract with the Whites, received his first international call-up to the Wales national team managed by United legend Ryan Giggs, he went on to score on his second appearance for his country.
The 21-year-old winger performances for Swansea this season has seen received another call up to the team for the Euro 2020 qualifying rounds against Hungary anf Croatia.
The Swansea winger scored the only goal in Wales’ 1-0 win against Slovakia, which is his second appearance.
Speaking of their victoy against Solvakia, James said: “It’s massive for me to learn off the gaffer and Gareth.
“They’ve obviously shown a lot to me and the gaffer said to me before the game ‘go and do what you’ve been doing at Swansea’.
“Gareth just said ‘keep getting at the full-back’ and that’s what I did.”
