According to reports from the Sunday Mirror, Manchester United are set to ship out Anthony Martial this summer only if any of his suitors can meet their £75m selling clause.
Martial, who has failed to register a starting role under Jose Mourinho since he was announced as the Red Devils boss which led to him being snubbed in Didier Deschamps’ squad for the World Cup is said to be considering a move away from the club.
This has seen the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid shown interest in signing the Frenchman this summer.
We could see Tottenham winning the race to sign Martial this summer, as they hold an upper hand as United are looking to sign one of theirs this summer. Spurs could enter a player-plus-cash deal with the Red Devils and if this is meant, Martial’s new home could be at White Hart Lane.
Martial, standing at 1.81m (5ft11 in), has already rejected talks about contract renewal as he is looking to leave Man United this summer in pursuit of regular game time elsewhere.
However, it could prove that United’s valuation prices Martial out of a move away from Old Trafford, with Mourinho looking to retain his serves, even despite the lack of trust in the forward.
Despite his limited game time this past season, Martial still contribute with 14 goals (nine goals with five assists) in 18(12) Premier League appearances.
