Dedryck Boyata set for Turkish move after agreeing to personal terms

According to reports, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have been handed a major boost in the race to sign Celtic defender Dedryck Boyata this week.

The Russia club have been closely linked with a move for the Belgian in recent weeks and as per Turkish newspaper Fanatik, the defender has rejected a move to Sevilla.

Per report from the source, the Belgium international wants to be assured of his chances in the first-team before he joins.

Sevilla, who were once linked with Boyata by Spanish news outlet Marca with a £10m move for Boyata, have already signed Simon Kjaer and Daniel Carriço, which could see the Belgian ace fighting for game time should he join this summer.

The Belgium international has entered the final 12 months of his contract and was criticised by Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers for not making himself available for the AEK game

The report from the above-mentioned outlet goes on to state that Fenerbahce director of football Damien Comolli and Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim will meet with Boyatta’s representatives this week.
