Done ? – Chelsea submit €90m for £110,000-a-week ace as Hazard replacement

According to reports, Premier League club Chelsea have been installed as the latest suitors to sign Paulo Dybala this summer and this report looks very well promising for the Blues.

Earlier this week, Italian news outlet Tutto Mercato Web Liverpool are believed to be leading the race to sign the playmaker this summer.

Chelsea’s reported interest came in the wake of Cristiano Ronaldo joining Juventus from Real Madrid earlier this week and it’s believed the 13-time Champions League are lining up move for Eden Hazard as the Portuguese replacement.

As per the report, the FA Cup winners have approach Dybala’s representatives that they are willing to secure his signing this summer and are set to sanction a fee worth in the region of 90 million euros (£79.5million) that will see him at Stamford Bridge this summer.

Dybala is a very versatile talent, who can be utilize anywhere in the attack of which Hazard mainly operates and perform well in the left-wing role, making his move to Chelsea an additional bonus.

The Argentine last season, registered 46 appearances for Juventus in all outings and netted 26 goals whilst also providing his teammates with seven assists. Hazard, on the hand, netted 17 goals with seven assists in 42 appearances across all competition for Chelsea last season.

Stats as collated by Whoscored.com shows Dybala having a rating of 7.77 winning the Man of the Match eight different time with Juventus while Hazard is rated at 7.69 with MotM’s on nine different occasions with Chelsea.

The World Cup 2018 campaign did not go well as planned for Dybala. In Argentina’s four games of the tournament, the Juve star could only register one appearances i.e against Argentina’s 3-0 defeat to Croatia in the group stages.

The former Palermo star contract runs till four years with Juventus which explains why his asking price will be hefty and as per The Mail, Dybala is earning around £110,000-a-week with Juventus.
