According to reports, La Liga giants Sevilla are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea and Belgium international striker Michy Batshuayi on a season-long loan this summer.
While it’s believed Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud are going to lead the line for Chelsea in their 2018/19 Premier League season, first-team chances for Chelsea would be hard to come by for Batshuayi.
The Belgian spent the latter half of the 2017/18 season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, where he impressed by netting seven goals in 10 appearances with the BvB outfits.
As reported by Goal, Sevilla are confident of signing him on a season-long loan for the 2018/19 La Liga season, although there are reports likes of Atletico Madrid and Valencia are also interested in a potential loan for him.
The La Liga giants have made six signings so far this summer, including the signing of midfielder Ibrahim Amadou from Lille and winger Aleix Vidal from Barcelona.
Elsewhere, Chelsea are reportedly set to sanction Atletico Madrid’s £89million release clause fee for the signing of Jan Oblak as Thibaut Courtois replacement by Thursday deadline day.
Courtois failed to turn up for training on Monday at the Cobham training centre and has told club he wants a move to Real Madrid, leaving the Blues with little time to sign a new goalkeeper before the transfer window shuts down.
