Speculations linking Moussa Dembele out of Celtic looks like it’s finally going to end this summer, according to reports.

Report according to Get French Football News according to their own sources, claims the 22-year-old man has signed a deal with the Ligue 1 club Olympique Lyonnais that would keep him at the club for next five years.

Dembele’s deal to Lyon is believe to be worth around €22M and €22.5M which is according to GFFN’s source.

They claim that all that’s needed is a rubber stamp from the French league authorities.

“All that is left is for the LFP to ratify the contracts and Dembélé will officially become a Lyon player,” they write.

Aside Lyon, Dembele has been linked with Marseille in January and few times during this window, and the prospect of a move seemed likely earlier this week.

However, the Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers admitted this night that it was unlikely that Dembele would leave Celtic as the Scotland champions haven’t been allowed adequate time to line up move for a replacement.

Dembele netted an impressive 25 goals for Celtic in a combined 55 outings across all competition.

The Northern Irishman subsequently said it was “unlikely” that the player would be involved in the Old Firm derby this weekend.

Now, according to these reports, he’s set to leave the club on the eve of Sunday’s game at Parkhead.
