Done Deal?: Chelsea agrees to Beat Juventus to pay £69m for Eden Hazard best replacement
With the summer transfer window fast approaching and several clubs have already confirmed one player or the other to their club before the summer, Chelsea – who is yet to overturn their transfer ban – has been reported to be willing to offer up £69 million in hopes of bringing in Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa to the club this summer.
Report has it that the Blues have identified the Italian winger as potential replacement for Eden Hazard – who looks set to join Real Madrid this summer – having had an impressive season in the Serie A this season.
Hazard’s big-move move to the Spanish Capital might be announced right after Chelsea’s last match of the season against Arsenal in the Europa League final to be held in Baku on May 29.
Despite their transfer ban, the Blues will be welcoming American star Christian Pulisic from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund this summer as a deal have been formerl agreed and signed on by both clubs back in the Janaury winter transfer window.
The Stamford Bridge outfit is reportedly confident in getting their transfer ban postponed as the plan to take the case to CAS.
With that being said, Spanish outlet Don Balon broke the new to the media to claim that Chelsea is one of the European clubs gunning for Chiesa signature.
The report further state that Juventus are the leader in the race to sign Chiesa, who has managed to bag 12 goals and created 3 assist this season for Fiorentina, but the London club will not back down.
Juventus have reportedly started a deal negotiation to sign the 21-year-old winger and an offer – Fiorentina can’t rebuff – have also been made.
With the hopes of beating the Bianconeris to the signing of Federico Chiesa, Chelsea are now willing to pay up to £69 million for his signature.
