If reports bears fruit, Premier League giants Chelsea F.C. have reportedly won the race to sign Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic.
Maurizio Sarri’s side have been linked with above to sign the midfielder from Dortmund and reports from the Daily Mail is claiming, they have moved ever closer to securing a deal for the midfielder.
It is reported that Dortmund previously valued the promising American star at a transfer fee of £70 million but this could have changed, with Pulisic reluctant to pen a new contract with the club.
Pulisic’s current deal with Lucien Favre’s she runs until the summer of 2020, leaving the Bundesliga side with a serious dilemma over his contract situation.
It’s reported by the Daily Mail that the Blues have moved ahead of other interested sides Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur as they look to recruit him, whose ambition to one day play in England is well-documented.
Chelsea are understood to be keen on quickly wrapping up a deal for the 20-year-old ahead of the January transfer window amid allegations of wrongdoing in their recruitment of under-age players in recent years.
