Chelsea have reportedly agreed to accept a €75 million bid offer from Manchester United for the signing of Brazilian winger Willian this summer.
As per report from Italian news outlet Tuttosport via Sport Witness, it’s believed Willian could be on the verge of departing the Stamford Bridge club to Old Trafford in just a matter of days from now.
The report add further that an upfront bis around €75 million will be offered by the Red Devils, with bonuses included in the potential deal for the winger.
The Brazil international had been heavily linked with a move to Barca, who were frontrunner to sign him this summer but saw their three different bid rejected by Chelsea.
Out of annoyance and frustration with Chelsea requesting a fee in the region of £70 million from Barca, the Catalan giants turned attention to sign Bordeaux and Brazil ace Malcom.
Manchester United have long been linked with a move for Willian, with Jose Mourinho a known admirer of the player. With the reported €75m accepted by Chelsea, The £120,000-a-wk ace could hit the road to Manchester this coming week to have his medicals and finalize his transfer from Chelsea to Man United.
Chelsea, however, have seem to be a selling club this summer with Eden Hazard also closing in on joining Real Madrid before end of the transfer window.
So far this window, Jorginho’s move from Napoli and Rob Green joining from Huddersfield Town has been the only major deals completed at Stamford Bridge.
