Liverpool have reportedly made an offer to sign French midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to report from Spanish news hub Don Balon.
Liverpool, who defeated West Ham United 4-0 at Anfield last Sunday followed their 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace, have been linked with a move for the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, despite the English transfer window shutting on August 9.
Rabiot, has six appearances for France national. He scored PSG’s second goal in the defending Ligue 1 champions’ opening opening 3-0 victory over Caen last weekend.
Rabiot, however, missed out in France’s FIFA World Cup winning squad during this summer’s finals in Russia, has scored 23 goals in 209 appearances overall for Paris Saint-Germain, having come through their youth ranks.
However, the report claims the Merseysiders have already submitted an offer to sign the central midfielder next summer, in a bid believed to beat the likes of Arsenal, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid to his signature.
The midfielder is currently valued at £45m and he will be out of contract at the Parc des Princes in June 2019, and would therefore become a free agent.
