The sale of Christian Pulisic to Chelsea seems to be a blooming business for Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund as they complete their third summer signing.
Borussia Dortmund have officially beaten Manchester United and Arsenal to the signing of Julian Brandt, which the club finally confirmed it on Wednesday and the German side is still open to bringing in new player to the Signal Iduna Park this summer.
The Red Devils were reported to be keen on signing the German midfielder, according to reports from Metro.
The Germany international will be spending his next season with Dortmund after completing a move from rivals Bayer Leverkusen in a fee reported to be worth £22 million, amid strong links coming Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
The 23-year-old arrival to the Signal Iduna park will make him the third addition to the club having signed Thorgan Hazard from German club Borussia Monchengladbach on Wednesday, while first signing Nico Schulz completed his very own move on Tuesday from Hoffenheim.
Brandt transfer move to Borussia Dortmund includes a deal that is set to expire in the summer of 2024.
Speaking about joining Dortmund he said: “I am a person who sometimes decides things from the gut and for whom a good feeling is important. In the case of Borussia Dortmund, I have a very good feeling,” Brandt said in a statement.
“One of the main reasons for my change is that BVB narrowly missed the title last season, so there is room for improvement and I am very excited about playing with the boys.
“I am very motivated and optimistic about my personal development but especially the whole team.”
