As reported this on Tuesday evening, Serie A champions Juventus have completed the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid in a stunning £99.2 million transfer, worth a reported £26.5 million a season deal for the Portuguese legend.
According to the Real legend, he calls time on his historic nine years professional career at the Santiago Bernabeu by venturing to Italy with Juventus.
Ronaldo’s transfer to Juventus will be the talks for the entirety of the window. Ronaldo joins the Serie A champions on the back of 450 goals in 438 appearances across all competitions with 131 assists whilst he wins the following titles in his nine year stint with Real Madrid:
Ronaldo’s beat all competition to wining four Ballon d’Or title four times with Real Madrid winning the title back-to-back three time.
That being said, his move to Turin would open door for Chelsea target Gonzalo Higuain to finally make his move to London this summer and it’s believed the Premier League are lining up 100 million euros double swoop that will not only see Higuain join them this summer, but Daniele Rugani also.
Higuain would be an impressive upgrade on Alvaro Morata who joined Chelsea last summer on a five-year contract believed to be worth an initial £58 million, potentially rising to £70m.
Morata, however, have been flopped since he joined Chelsea as was only able to scored 15 goals in 48 Premier League appearances.
Higuain, on the other hand, have been a sensational signing since he joined Juventus netting 55 goals in 105 appearances across all competitions. He will be hoping to make his mark for Chelsea if end up join the Blues this summer and he’s rated at €60 million as per Transfermkt.
