Manchester United have reportedly been handed some serious positive transfer news regarding their interest in signing Porto centre-back Eder Militao.
The talented 20-year-old has been strongly linked with the Red Devils and other big suitors across Europe in recent times and everything now seems in place for a deal to be finalized in January.
Report according to Spanish news publication Don Balon claims the Premier League giants are joined by Real Madrid in the race to sign the centre-back, and Porto have decided they will sell the defender if they receives offers around £44million this winter.
The fee as quoted by the Spanish should be easily affordable for Man United, so they just need to ensure they can get in their before the European champions strike an agreement with Porto for the talented centre-back.
Manchester United are desperately in need of reinforcements in defence, with thier current team lacking top class performance at the back, and with the signing of Militao, they absolutely will be guaranteed of a long-term option at the heart of defence for years to come.
