In the turns of possible events of losing their prolific forward, Dortmund are currently in the transfer market shopping for a replacement for Aubameyang, and rumours has that Sevilla forward is in their radar.
Arsenal have been in contact with the German giants for their forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Recently, the Gunners representatives came over to Germany to negotiate over the Gabonese striker, talks have been held due to the Gunners failing to meets the demands.
The Gunners have previously seen a £44 million bid rejected by the German outfit, who are currently holding out £60 million for the striker, but are likely to let the player out of the club this winter, if only they could land a replacement for him before the closure of the January transfer window, with Sky-Sports claiming Sevilla striker Wissam Ben Yedder as a possible replacement.
The French-born is currently running on the second year of his contract, a five-year contract, which he signed when he joined from Toulouse in summer 2016.
The Ex-Toulouse has made a claim about his impression to leave the club after the Los Rojiblancos newly appointed manager Vincenzo Montella, told him he will no longer be a starter for the Spanish club.
Despite that, Yedder has beeen able to find the back of the net 15 times in 22 appearances this season, which has got him on Dortmund’s radar, who are reportedly keen on bringing up the striker for some Bundesliga action before the deadline day.
Unlike Yedder, Aubameyang has been in quite an impressive form and also appearing to be one of the deadliest strikers in Europe, bagging himself 21 goals in 23 appearances so far this season. The Gabonese forward has found himself in the news, mostly for the transfer saga going on with Arsenal and BVB accusing him for to be having some disciplinary issues.
However, BVB are yet to table a bid for the striker but Yedder will certainly be a great replacement for Aubameyang and a good addition to the team.
