Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly in Italy to personally get involved in helping his club deliver two big signing for Maurizio Sarri this summer.
The Russian business tycoon is reportedly in Italy to secure the signing of Gonzalo Higuain and Daniele Rugani, who is likely to cost the club a combined €100million in a double raid on the Turin giants.
As reported by Italian news tabloid, Corriere dello Sport, via the Daily Mail, also suggests the Premier League could struggle in bid to sign Rugani in particular.
Still, the club owner will hope his visit to Italy can persuade the Serie A champions into selling the duo with any unforeseen issue.
The Times are among one of the British sources linking Eden Hazard and Willian with moves away from Chelsea this summer, while it’s believed their goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is also eyeing move away from the club to join Real Madrid who are also leading race to sign Hazard this very summer.
This means new signings coming in are absolutely essential for new manager Maurizio Sarri, who for all his fine work at Napoli looks to have inherited a very problematic situation at Stamford Bridge.
The Italian gaffer would welcome a reunion with his former players who he had once worked with at Napoli and Empoli respectively before going their separate ways.
The duo would be a massive boost to Chelsea ranks next season as the Blues major weakness in the league last season was due to poor performance upfront from Alvaro Morata, Olivier Giroud while David Luiz and Gary Cahill were not at their best for the club.
