Tweet according to Sky Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano reveals Arsenal are closing in on a deal to sign another player in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners have significantly changed the way they handle transfer business so far this summer, following the exit of Arsene Wenger from the club last month.
Arsenal new head-coach Unai Emery secured his first signing in Stephan Lichtsteiner not quite too long and the Spaniard has now added another man to the list of his latest recruitment.
The Gunners confirmed on Tuesday that a deal to sign Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno to Arsenal has been agreed this summer as he’s likely to challenge Petr Cech for a starting role next season. With this transfer completed, Arsenal now appear to be closing in another signing in Lucas Torreira.

The 22-year-old has strongly been linked with a move to the Emirates stadium this summer and Torreira joining Arsenal is now just around the corner.
From the Sky Sports journalist, Romano, it’s believed Arsenal will “soon” complete the deal to sign Torreira from Sampdoria this summer having agreed the Italian club’s €30m release clause.
