Arsenal are considering move for highly-rated workderkid and could enter into negotiations with the player very soon.
The player in question is Freiburg wonderkid, Caglar Soyuncu and the player has confirmed the Gunners are interested in his services and he will hold talks with the club this summer.
The player is a 22-year-old defender, who currently ply his trade with Bundesliga side, Freiburg and could be viewed as a potential long-term solution to Arsenal’s defensive woes this summer.
A report according to Italian news outlet CalcioMercato claimed on Wednesday evening that the player’s price-tag is likely to be in the region of €40m.
Soyuncu’s hefty price tag shows how well he is rated amongst his pair despite his young age and limited experience.
The above-mentioned Italian outlet also mentioned in their report citing Turkish media in which the player admitted that Arsenal are interested in the player and confirmed that he will hold talks with them this summer.
“I know they’re interested in me, but there’s nothing finalised yet about my transfer. After the national team camp we’ll have talks.”
It looks as though Soyuncu could be granted as one of Unai Emery’s first transfers at the Emirates if the reported Arsenal interest in the youngster is as serious as it appears to be.
However, if this reports is as serious as it appears to be, Soyuncu could emerge as one of Unai Emery’s first transfer business at the Emirates this summer.
