End of Alonso and Palmieri: Sarri to sanction £45m January move South-American ace

According to reports, Premier League club Chelsea F.C. are reportedly considering a move for Juventus left-back Alex Sandro, despite Maurizio Sarri having enough quality options in ranks already.

Sandro at Juventus, has been a fundamental part of Massimiliano Allegri’s side since he joined the Italian outfit in 2015, and has gone on to register 124 appearances for Juve. Sadro played a key role in Juve’s winning three Serie A titles and three Coppa Italia trophies.

That being said, it doesn’t seem likely that Juventus would be interested in selling their prized assest unless they have a quality replacement in mind, but as reported by Italian news outlet Calciomercato, Chelsea along with Paris Saint-Germain are said to be keen on trying to sign Sandro.

Chelsea already have Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri and the move for Sandro doesn’t seem like one that makes a great deal of sense as the duo current in their ranks are surely enough to help the club compete on various fronts and win trophies this season and beyond.

Nevertheless, given the club’s link Sandro, it appears this as lot more to do with Maurizio Sarri still keen on strengthening every depth of his Chelsea’s team. However, time will tell if that results in the Brazilian defensive ace arriving in west London next year.
