Arsenal target Leandro Trossard’s manager has taking to the media to report that his client might just be joining up Arsenal this summer.
The Gunners have been reported to be in the transfer market for a potential winger to sign ahead of the opening of the summer transfer window but the club have been linked with so many players that it is hard to know which draws their true interest.
Trossard’s agent, Josy Comhair came to the media to confirm speculations: “There is no agreement with any club yet,” he aaid to Belgian new outlet Het Nieiwsblad.
He continued: “But I think that Germany is a beautiful country for him. You can take it one step higher via Germany.
“Because with Arsenal you are immediately at the highest level and you can almost only go down. But yes, it can also be Arsenal.”
About fortnight ago, reports were claiming that Wolfsburg were leading the race to sign the Belgian winger and Arsenal, who has been linked with the winger since the beginning of the season, is yet to make an formal approach for the player.
Late last year, Trossard’s agent confirmed that the Gunners were scouting his player but didnt table an offer as they continue search for a winger. The Gunners were reported to be back in touch with the agent over a possible transfer this summer.
Plyjng his trade in Jupiler Pro League, Trossard was able to bag 11 goals and created four assists in 24 League appearances, which could make him an ideal wide winger for the North London club. But an offer has to be table as they will need to beat Wolfsburg to his signature.
