Tottenham fans on Twitter have been left stunned by a report claiming that AFC Bournemouth head-coach Eddie Howe would likely be considered as the club’s next manager.
It was reported by The Telegraph that Howe would be Spurs No. 1 favourite to replace Mauricio Pochettino if the Argentine boss was to leave his current post at any time in the near future.
One fan mentioned he’s happy with the thought of Howe replacing Pochettino, with another quoted as saying that he is “right up Levy’s street”.
However, it’s believed Eddie Howe may not be the big name some portion of fans want as Pochettino’s replacement at the club but Tottenham’s hierarcy should always keep an open mind when it comes to their manager as things can change in the blink of an eye.
Tottenham fans, who nornally hate the idea of linking Pochettino with an exit from the club, appears to fancy the idea of Eddie Howe coming in as the Argentine gaffer replacement. Howe’s success at Bournemouth shows he’s capable of managing Tottenham and deserves a shot with one of the top-six clubs.
That being said, Football Weeks has rounded up some of the best tweets below:
Only manager who wouldn’t demand big money signings and still do well

Howe would be my choice it seems the Tottenham hierarchy have realised Pochettino will walk due to the owners having no interest in success under ENIC everyone leaves for trophies #THFC #COYS https://t.co/mIEPJGj6Lc
