Acccording to earlier report, Premier League club AFC Bournemouth are the latest EPL team to be linked with a summer move for Celtic defender Kieran Tierney, according to The Sun.
While both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are said to have shown interest in the full-back, the PL giants hope they can beat the two club to one of the most highly rated players in the Scottish Premiership.
Apparently, Cherries boss Eddie Howe is hoping the promise of regular first team football, coupled with a lucrative contract, will convince Tierney to joining his side this summer.
Howe hopes that Tierney will see the move as a good way to establish himself in England’s top flight before then making a move to one of the division’s biggest clubs.
The report says that the left-back is value at £20m, despite the fact that still over a month short of his 21st birthday the Scotland international has played 127 times for the Bhoys – including in the Champions League – and has nine senior caps for his country.
This might be why Hoops fans have greeted the news that Bournemouth hope to sign Tierney with very little seriousness.
Tierney??? ??????? Dream on.
