According to reports, Chelsea and Russia club CSKA Moscow have reportedly agreed terms for a deal with Aleksandr Golovin this summer.
As noted by BBC correspondents in Russia via Calcio Mercato, it’s believed a five-year deal has been agreed with the midfielder and he could jet into London today in next 24 hours for his medical at the Cobham Training Centre.
Chelsea are signing the midfielder despite recent reports claiming Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco are signing him this summer, but appear Golovin will be heading to the London instead.
Golovin’s move to Chelsea is now very close, as the club eyeing move for reinforcements following their appointment of Maurizio Sarri.
The Blues new head-coach is said to be a huge admirer of the player and the Italian gaffer as previously tried signing him for his former side, Napoli before eventually joining Chelsea.
Arsenal were also believed to the in the race to sign the midfielder but consider signing Lucas Torreira rather this summer.
