The agent of Chelsea summer target Daniele Rugani has revealed that his client could join the Premier League club this summer.
Rugani is reportedly a target for the past Premier League champions this summer as they look to revamp their squad after a disappointment season last campaign.
His agent told Sport Italia:
“It’s obvious to say that the Sarri issue must be resolved first.
“After that, we can proceed with the negotiations and make them more or less concrete.”
Italian news outlet Il Gazzette dello Sport recently claimed the Italian centre-back is closing in on a four-year deal with Chelsea in a £31million (€35m) deal and see the highly-rated defender sign up until the summer of 2022.
Chelsea’s move for Rugani, a former target for Arsenal and Everton will be Chelsea’s first new arrival of the summer and the first in Maurizio Sarri era. The two have previously worked together during their two years together at Empoli.
Rugani is wanting out of Juventus due to lack of first-team chances with the Serie A champions and now looks set to move on after the Serie A giants decided to cash in on him this summer.
