Manchester United are looking to strengthen their attack this summer transfer window and latest reports have linked the club with French sensation Kylian Mbappe.
According to Spanish outlet Don Balon, United boss Jose Mourinho is prepared to secure the signing of the 19-year-old from Paris Saint-Germain.
Don Balon have mentioned that the Red Devils want to improve the quality of their team so they can proceed further in the Champions League next season and in light of this, they’re considering an attacking threat of Sanchez, Lukaku and Mbappe.
Mbappe, a former Monaco youngster, joined the Ligue 1 champions last year and in his 46 appearances across all competition, the France international has contributed in 37 goals scoring 21 and creating a 16 assists for his teammates.
He is such an amazing talent that can be deployed anywhere in the attack. While at Monaco, he was mainly used in the centre-forward position but since in the rank of PSG, he plays as a right winger next to Ederson Cavani who plays as the main striker.
With PSG having financial issues at the moment, we could see the club letting Mbappe leave the club for the highest bidder.
His current deal with will expire in 2020 and reports claims, he pockets around €1.5million-a-month i.e. €346,000-a-week with the PSG. With the likes of Alexis Sanchez earning £400,000 weekly, Romelu Lukaku earning £200,000, Paul Pogba earning £290,000 and David de Gea earning £200,000 a week, it remains to be seen what wages will be giving Mbappe per week as Man United player, but Mbappe’s wages is definitely going a be a world-record which would surpass Sanchez wages at the club.
