Liverpool ace Virgil van Dijk has won the PFA Player of the Year Award having been pictured carry his major trophy with his teammates right by his sides.
The Dutch defender has been prolific in his first full campaign at Anfield, helping the club in their chase for the Premier League title and Champions League glory.
Van Dijk has been a very notable key player for the Reds team as they go second in the League with only two points behind leaders Manchester City with two matches left for the 2018/19 campaign.
The Netherland defender beats competitions, with the likes of Raheem Sterling, Bernando Silva, Sadio Mane, Sergio Aguero and Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, to the award.
The Dutchman, who joined the Merseysiders team during the winter transfer window of 2018 from Southampton for a reported fee of £75 million, has been a key figuer for the Klopp’s side this season.
Having snatched up the award from three Manchester City players, Virgil van Dijk will be hoping to help his team win the Premier League title this season with just two League games left and they are trailing two points behind City, with a Champions League semi-final tie against Barcelona coming up too.
