It was a hard news for Chelsea fans on Monday when report broke out that Eden Hazard admitted he was willing to move out out of London and paly for his “dream” club Real Madrid in Spain.
Real Madrid are believed to be a strong admirer of the Belgium international and the Los Blancos tried making a move for him in the summer but all efforts in coming to terms with Chelsea over the signing of Hazard were futile.
The speculations on Monday had gone on for a considerable while and after Hazard’s brilliant at the 2018 World Cup for Belgium. At the end of the World Cup, Hazard is expected by many to push through a move out of Chelsea, but the Belgian did not.
Hazard respected the Chelsea and the fans during the period and he committed his future to the club. But shortly after this, Hazard has been tearing defences apart and he has netted seven goals in eight appearances while admitting he wants to play for Real Madrid.
As reported by Cadena SER, the La Liga club’s top officials will make a move to signing him when the window reopens in January. His current deal, in which he earns £200,000 weekly runs until the summer of 2020 and Chelsea might risk losing him for free if he the Belgian refuses to sign an extension.
If Real can make the move for him in January, Hazard will be able to play for them in the Champions League after the major change by UEFA in the competition about playing for two clubs in one season.
