As reported by Sky Sports, Serie A giants AC MIlan are closing in on an agreement with Chelsea to sign Frenchman Tiemoue Bakayoko on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
The France international only joined the Blues last summer, but endured a disastrous campaign in the Premier League with Chelsea.
The former Monaco midfielder joined Chelsea in a £40 million deal from Monaco last summer, arriving off to back of his sensational title-winning form with the Ligue 1 club. However, Bakayoko was unable to translate his strong performances to English football though and now looks bereft of confidence.
New Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has strengthened his midfield contingent this summer, and now a move looks like the best option for Bakayoko in order to resurrect his career.
Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to celebrate the imminent-looking exit of the £110,000-a-wk ace from their club…
Kante doesn't have to babysit Bakayoko anymore. Jorginho & Kovacic next to him in midfield.. tears in my eyes.

Would love to see Chelsea loan Bakayoko on a TWO year loan to Serie A to learn proper football
