RB Leipzig are said to be keen on signing Arsenal star Emile Smith Rowe on a permanent deal this summer, according to reports from Calcio Mercato.
The Gunners midfielder joined the Bundesliga club during the winter transfer window on an initial six month loan deal.
The 18-year-old attacker recently returned from his grion injury right after joining the Bundesliga club in January and got to make his first debut last weekend coming on as a late substitute against Wolfsburg.

In spite of his injury issues, Leipzig is still keen on making his deal permanent. If he will be staying with the German club on a permanent deal, he will be taking the same footsteps as England teenagers Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson who are already making a name for themselves in the Bundesliga.
Talking about the Bundesliga right after signing RB Leipzig, Smith Rowe said: “The Bundesliga is a really good league.”
“There are a lot of good players here and big teams as well. It’s like the Premier League really. Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Leipzig, Hoffenheim, Schalke – all big teams, all Champions League teams really. I think it’s a great opportunity.”
“I think it’s definitely a big step at such a young age, but I think that’s a great experience, seeing Reiss and other young players take the step, obviously doing well and enjoying themselves, that has really boosted my confidence.”
