The central midfielder has Russia’s heartbeat in the World Cup so far, with impressive performances helping the host national to the Round of 16 with one goal and two assists in Russia’s first two matches, both wins over Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
However, the €30m-rated midfielder was rested for Russia’s final group stage match against Uruguay, but is more than likely to return to the team when the host national take on Spain in the round of 16.

It’s unclear whether the CSKA Moscow midfielder would mind joining a host of attacking midfielders at Chelsea, or whether he would be signed as a replacement for either Eden Hazard or Willian.
There have been reports that Chelsea have rejected an opening $65.7 million from Barcelona for the signing of Willian this summer.
And in other news, Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti is eyeing a £26m summer move for Chelsea FC defender David Luiz, according to a report in Italy. Rest of the report can be read on Football News.
