Arsenal new head-coach Unai Emery has stressed that he “wants to work with” Arsenal contract rebel Aaron Ramsey for years amid the Welshman’s ongoing contract situation at the club.
Ramsey has one year left to run on his current contract at Arsenal and has been linked with top European clubs as he continues to hold off on signing a new contract with the club.

It’s believed Emery is now desperate in convincing the Wales international to commit his future to Arsenal, and having watched him close enough in training recently, the Spaniard is more convinced over Ramsey’s qualities for Arsenal.
Emery told the club’s website during a press conference on Thursday:
“I’m very happy with him.
“For me, every day, every training session, he has the ambition I want. He’s working with a quality, the type of ability that I want. I want to work with him.
“[His new contract] is a question for the player and for the club. In my opinion, I’ve said to Ivan, Raul and Sven that I think he’s an important player for me.”
Aaron Ramsey joined Arsenal in 2008, and had go on to register 331 appearances for the club, scoring 59 goals with 57 assists. He has also won three FA Cups title with the club.
Ramsey’s contract is believed that he wants a pay hike on his current £110,000 per week wages before he can be pushed to put pen to paper.
