Premier League giants Chelsea are facing battle to keep talented youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi as he considers leaving the Stamford Bridge. Hudson-Odoi is one of the most exciting youngsters to come through the club’s academy in recent years and netted his first goal for his boyhood club on Thursday against PAOK in the Europa League.
As per reports, a five-year deal has reported been placed on the table for the attack, but Hudson-Odoi has refused to put pen to paper on this new contract.
It’s believed the midfielder is concerned about the amount of first-team football he will get under Maurizio Sarri, having only made two starts this season.
Hudson-Odoi is yet to feature in the Premier League or Carabao Cup and the midfielder has grown frustrated with life under the Italian gaffer. The club are hoping for him to sign a new deal and then ship him out on loan to a Championship club, however, he believes he’s ready to explore the Premier League football right now.
The likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are all thought to be interested in signing him, should Chelsea deem to allow him leave the club.
