Rangers winger Jamie Murphy could be back in action in the Old Firm derby against Celtic and has been training with the squad.
Graeme Murty’s side are just six points off Celtic in the league table and win at home on Sunday against Brendan Rodgers’ side could make the title race interesting in the last couple of months.
And ahead of their Sunday’s clash, Rangers have received an injury boost as according to Sky Sports News HQ, Murphy could feature in the Old Firm derby following an injury scare.
The 28-year-old, who joined Rangers on loan in January, missed the Scottish FA Cup against Falkirk last weekend and was suspected to have broken his toe.
However, the injury was not as severe as was thought to be and he has been training with the rest of the squad, leading to him being in contention for selection on Sunday.
He has made a difference since he joined the club in January and has three goals and six assists in nine appearances across all competition.
Gers midfeilder Graham Dorrans, who has been out of action since October with an ankle injury, has also returned to training with the rest of the squad and could be part of the club’s plans for Sunday.
