French forward Alexandre Lacazette has been awarded Arsenal’s Player of the Year, after winning 35 percent of the votes cast by the Gunners’ fans.
The North London club took to their official website to announce French striker as the winner on Friday morning, right after bagging a brace to help the club achieve a 3-1 victory against Balencia in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The Statement on their website claims that the Frenchman’s presence and performances in big matches this season is how a proper elite forward will play.
Having scored 13 goals and created as many as 8 assists, Lacazette has helped the English club in their battle of the Premier League top four spot and also reaching the semi-final in the Europa League.
