Leaving? Eden Hazard finally breaks silence about Madrid transfer

Eden Hazard has finally discussed the uncertainty surrounding his Stamford bridge future amid Real Madrid interest.

The Chelsea forward has claimed that neither La Liga giants Real Madrid nor any other side are waiting to complete his signature of the Belgian in the summer.

The Belgium international winger has been strongly connected with a transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu during the 2018-19 English Premier League campaign.

The rumour has only increased since the return of French tactician and FIFA World Cup winner Zinedine Zidane as manager of UEFA Champions League holders Real Madrid.

The former Lille attacker is a huge fan of the former France international midfielder following Zidane’s wonderful career Real Madrid.

The current Chelsea contract of the 28-year-old will run out at the conclusion of the 2019-20 campaign, when Eden will be free to move on Bosman ruling.

Chelsea haven’t made much progress in sealing Eden Hazard’s future at Stamford bridge.

However, the player himself has now said that he is focused on helping his West London club to win the UEFA Europa League and ensure a return to the UEFA Champions League.

Eden Hazard has since been one of the Blues’ best players in inconsistent debut campaign under Italian tactician and former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri.

Former Premier League champions Chelsea are in sixth position in the League log and three points behind Arsenal with eight matches remaining to play.

The former Champions League and Europa league winners will face Slavia Prague in the second tier of European club competitions- Europa League last-8 in April.
