According to reports emerging in the media, Champions League finalist Liverpool have been reported to have joined in on the race to sign Ajax forward David Neres alongside English rivals Arsenal and Chelsea.
The 22-year-old forward has been pivotal for the Dutch club as they reached the Champions League semi-final this season.
Reports also claim that Spanish giant Real Madrid have also been linked with the Brazilian forward having helped eliminated the La Liga side in the last 16 but was unavailable in the return leg of the semi-final as Tottenham Hotspur them in a 2-3 win in Amsterdam on Wednesday due to an injury.
The Reds have now joined both local and European rivals in the race to secure the signature of the Brazilian, as reported by The Sun.
Of course, London club Chelsea is now out of the race as their appeal for the FIFA transfer ban was rejected yesterday.
The Gunners, who are also keen, have only professed their hope in signing Neres and any negotiations or talks are yet to start.

Neres, who joined the Dutch club from Sao Paulo three years ago, have been praised by the media with impressive performance this season as he bagged 11 goals and further created 10 assists in 32 starts in all competitions for Ajax this campaign.
Having bagged a goal against Madrid in the round of 16 eliminating the club at Santiago Bernabeu and a goal against Italian giants Juventus in the Champions League.
