Liverpool’s Chief Scout, Barry Hunter, has reportedly jet into Lyon to try to secure Nabil Fekir’s deal that would see the Frenchman joining the Merseysides this summer.
The Reds chief-scout is said to be the one at Liverpool who has the best relationship with the player and his agents, who are said to be prolonging the deal.
There been already been report suggesting a medical issue was blame for the delay of his deal but French outlet L’Equipe suggest that a disagreement about financial incentives to Fekir’s agents is to blame for this hold up.
The Champions League finalist are said to be frustrated about this delay but remain hopeful of getting this deal over the line for the player.
As crazy as it seems, it has already been reported that the player has even completed an introductory interview with LFCTV as all parties seemed convinced that his deal with Liverpool was all but done this summer.
However, it seems like the forward’s representatives are holding out for more money, so Hunter has flown out to try and resolve the issue.
