Ahead of a Premier League match, London giants Arsenal have been handed an injury blow to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but could be ready in time for the matxh against Leucester City on Sunday.
Having missed Arsenal 3-1 defeat at the hands of Wolverhampton Wanderers, has been spotted in the training field at Colney with the hopes of featuring in Sunday’s game as the race for the top four in the Premier League toughens up.
The Gabonese striker has been a key player in the Unai Emery team, as he found the back of the net 19 times making the club a contender in the top four race, but the Gunners have too many punctured holes in the defence.
An the manager Emery is wishing his time on the sidelines will be for one match nothing more.
“He trained today and if he can train tomorrow, I think we can think he’s ready for Sunday,” Emery said.
“He could train today,” Emery continued. “Then, if he can train normally tomorrow, it’s a possibility.”
“We lost the last match and the match before, but our focus is on the present and on Sunday,” he said.
“If we think negatively with the last two matches, we can’t think positively about the games we won against Napoli and Watford
