Manchester United are reporting considering an hijack on Arsenal’s move for Mexican World Cup star Hirving Lozano having “submitted an offer of €40m.”
The South-American ace was Mexico’s heartbeat at World Cup before they eventually got knocked out to fellow South American neighbours Brazil, and reports according to Tuttormercaweb claims the winger is now a target for the Red Devils.
This follows just few weeks after The Sun linked the winger with Arsenal, in a report that also says the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid are eyeing move for him this summer.
Arsenal are still in the market for an upgrade on the likes Alex Iwobi, Danny Welbeck after losing Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott to Manchester United and Everton respectively in the January window.
United, on the other hand, are also in dire need of a new signing on the winger as Sanchez has failed to leave up to expectation at Old Trafford, while Anthony Martial looks he could leave the club this summer.
Although, Jose Mourinho’s side have been linked with Chelsea star Willian, but Lozano appears to be a better and cheaper long-term option to Willian.
The winger joined the Dutch giants last year in a reported six-year agreement and has only got a release clause of 40 million dollars (€34million).
An exclusive report covered by Italian news hub Tutto Mercato Web, claimed the Manchester club are preparing an offer worth in the region of €40million to secure the signing of the North American player this summer, which is even more than what he have placed in his release clause with PSV Eindhoven.
