Manchester City Interested In Signing Francesco Camarda After Scoring 500 Goals At Youth Level

This season, the 15-year-old forward has broken several records for AC Milan U19. In a game against Sassuolo in September, Camarda scored a goal, which made him become the first 2008-born player to score in the Primavera.

He didn’t stop there, Camarda went on to score a brace and create an assist in his first appearance in the UEFA Youth League, in a 4-0 victory against Newcastle United. Due to this, he was named the youngest Italian to have bagged a goal in the Youth League at the age of 15 years and 195 days.
This also made the young Italian to become the youngest player in history to score in all three U-19 tournaments. And he is only 15 years of age.
Due to this, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City showing interest in Francesco Camarda shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. According to Calciomercato, a popular Italian publication, the Premier League club have shown interest in signing this AC Milan wonderkid.
However, Manchester City are not the only club keen on signing the Italian youngster, as Bundesliga giants, Borussia Dortmund, who are known for their talented youngsters, are also quite keen on bringing Francesco Camarda to their club.
While Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund’s interests are known to the public, Calciomercato claims that there are several other top European clubs interested in the Camarda.
Growing up in Italy, means Francesco Camarda dreams of making his Serie A debut on an AC Milan jersey, as he has been with the club for a long while. So far, the youngster has been progressing quite well. It’s only a matter of time before we see Camarda putting on Milan’s jersey for a senior team debut. But that’s if no European club snatch him away from the wraps of the Italian club.
AC Milan, however, is not scared of the transfer links pointing to their youngster, who will be turning 16 years old on March 10th. That might be the day the club table their first professional contract for the youngster.
Francesco Camarda averages 5.5 goals per game at youth level, which saw him being dubbed as one of the most prolific young strikers in Italy. Camarda will be a joy to watch when he finally breaks into AC Milan’s senior team.
