Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United have already secured three signings this summer in Dalot (fullback), Fred (midfielder) and Grant (goalie) and looks to still be in the window for more signings before end of the window.
Report as per German news outlet Sport Bild last week, reported that Man United want to sign Croatian international Ante Rebic, who should command as high as €50million.
And Italian source Corriere di Verona, however, are saying the Red Devils are ready to sanction the €50million fee for the signing of the Croatian forward.
Rebic mainly plays on the left wing for Bundesliga club Frankfurt but for Croatia at the 2018 World Cup, the attacker was deployed on the right wing and Perisic played on the left flank.
The attacker only got to play in his preferred position which was against Argentina in which he scored his only screamer goal of the tournament.
Rebic registered 28 appearances for Frankfurt in all outings last season and directly contributed in 12 goals – netting nine goals and creating three assists.
Man United, however, had to sign Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal in January who plays as their left-winger that leaves Jesse Lingard to play on the right wing.
With Man United looking to offload Anthony Martial this summer, with Rebic capable of playing anywhere in the offense, the Croatian could be on his way to Old Trafford as a replacement to the French international.
