Chelsea winger Kenedy is reportedly on his way to join Newcastle United this summer, after his successful six month loan deal with the Magpies last season, with Sky Sports reporting that the player has completed his medicals.
The South American winger was one of the best player for Rafael Benitez’s side last season after he joined the then newly-promoted from Chelsea in January, to play at the St. James’ Park for the last six months of the season.
Kenedy, who predominantly play on the right flanks, registered 13 appearances for Newcastle and netted two goals in line, setting the stage alight as Newcastle managed to keep their place in the Premier League, amid danger of being relegated.
The winger is thought to be highly targeted by former Real Madrid and Liverpool manager Benitez, and is keen on luring him to Newcastle as one of his player.
If reports bears fruit, the winger’s move to St. James Park is likely to be confirmed soon but as reported by Sky Sports, there is no clause to buy permanently after the loan deal this season.
In order news, Napoli midfielder Jorginho is reportedly set to undergo a medical with Premier League club Chelsea soon ahead of his proposed move to the west London club this summer.
The midfielder who had earlier been on Manchester City books, seemed to have selected Chelsea as the preferred side he would rather join this summer. And it’s also added further that a deal have already been agreed with Chelsea over his move.
