As reported by the Daily Mail, the tabloid claims Arsenal and England star Calum Chambers is expected for a medical at Fulham on Monday after the Gunners agreed to let him join the newly promoted club.
Chambers in July, signed a new four-year contract with the North London club and the 23-year-old is now expected to put pen on a season long-loan contract with Fulham.
The Craven Cottage boss Slavisa Jokanovic is reportedly in desperate need of experienced defenders as Alfie Mawson is not expected to be fully back on his fit until September.
Chambers, however, would be a wise choice for the Premeir League, base on his abilities to cover a number of positions but Fulham would still need another centre back.
According to same reports, Fulham are believed to have made a bid to sign Barcelona’s and Colombian international Yerry Mina thought the defender is also on other clubs’ radar with Everton and Manchester United both credited with strong interest in the Colombian.
Fulham, on the hand, have already signed six players so far this summer transfer window but feels there’s need for one or two more signings until the windows closes on Thursday.
