Arsenal legend Ian Wright has taken to Twitter to react to his former side latest departure ahead of the upcoming new season.
Following Arsene Wenger’s exit at the club, there have been several important players facing the exit door at the club this summer.
Along with new signings, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Bernd Leno, the Gunners new boss Unai Emery has handed the likes of Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Granit Xhaka a new contract deal at the club.
On Tuesday, Wilshere announced that he had agreed to complete a transfer move away from the club after several years on the books of Arsenal.
However, one man who does not appear renewing his contract at Arsenal is Jack Wilshere. On Tuesday evening, Arsenal blogs revealed the England international announced that he had agreed to complete a transfer from Arsenal after 17 years of being with the club.

Wilshere, who had been earning £90,000-a-week in wages with Arsenal, has been linked with the likes West Ham United, Everton, Wolverhampton Wanderers while Serie A clubs Juventus, AC Milan and Sampdoria are also set to lock horns over the signing of the free-agent this summer.
And immediately after hearing about the news of Wilshere leaving Arsenal, the Gunners striker Ian Wright took to Twitter to share his thoughts by saying below:
Disappointed to hear the news.I know exactly what Jack is going through & it is heartbreaking knowing that you have to leave Arsenal Football Club. I wish you all the best in the future and hope you find the happiness again in playing the game you love. @JackWilshere ❤️❤️❤️ pic.twitter.com/kagGpP6ITS

Arsenal fans all around the world also took to Twitter to react to the news of Wilshere leaving the club with some not really feeling too good about his transfer from Arsenal:
Absolutely gutted. Most of the time felt he was the only player who cared about arsenal and knew what it meant to put on the shirt

How can emery justify giving xhaka a new long term contract but rates wilshere so little that even when he agrees to take a reduced wage he still gets pushed out the door
— Jack (@J_Ryan36) June 19, 2018
Didn’t really get pushed, read his post, was just told he wasn’t guaranteed first team football every week which is fair enough and then he’s obvs decided he’d rather be a starter somewhere else again fair

I’ve read it. Point is he was desperate to stay and he felt no other choice but to leave because emery doesn’t rate him enough to play him, and yet he rates xhaka enough to sign him on a long term contract ??♂️

I think it was the right choice for both parties. Jack wants first team football and we need to move forward with fresher ideas and new faces. Yes, it will be really difficult watching Jack play in another shirt, but it will be for the good in the long run.

I’m absolutely devastated Wrighty, no lie the tears are real. Jack was Arsenal, he always will be. Some players remain in the hearts of Arsenal fans, jack will be one of them xx ???

Not overrated – just injury prone. Injuries are hard to deal with and bounce back from. You lose fitness – march sharpness – you lose your edge. It takes a while to get back to your best sometimes.

Only player in my opinion that showed passion for arsenal every time he put the shirt on gutted to see him leave arsenal all the best Jack

Love the lad and it’s sad to see him go. One of our own but we will all welcome Jack back to Arsenal, he is through and through.
Totally understand Jack’s thinking, I’ve played team sport and you always want to be a starter, moving sideways for this is a step I’ve taken myself.— Joe Magliocco (@DenchMagliocco) June 19, 2018
This is sad ? it’s very rare to see a player who genuinely loves and supports their club. Some people think he’s overrated,
I think he’s underrated. He will work extremely hard for his new team. @JackWilshere good luck for your future #COYG ??— KB (@Se4ney) June 19, 2018
