Reports coming from various sources in England has claimed that are have already agreed to sign 17-year-old Gabriel Martinelli from Ituano.
The Daily Mail is also reporting that the young attacker has been tagged to be the club’s first summer signing of Unai Emery who continues to rebuild the team he inherited. The reports claims that the 17-year-old already agreed personal terms withbthe Gunners but there has been a delay in collecting his Itallian passport.
In other news, former Gunners midfielder Edu is officially a target for the club as they try to fill the void in the technical director office after failing to bring in Monchi and Marc Overmars in the past few months.
The former Arsenal midfielder, who was very pivotal for the club during their invincible season, is currently on a job for Brazil’s National team as a general coordinator.
It has also been reported that the 40-year-old won’t be signing up for Arsenal till Brazil’s Copa America campaign is done with in the summer with the North London willing to wait having agreed on a deal.
Martinelli could as well be the next big talent coming from Brazil following the success of Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus, PSG’s Neymar and Watford’s Richarlison who all plays the attacking position.
