Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool have both been reported in the media to be keen on signing Thorgan Hazard to their club from Borussia Monchengladbach.
But both clubs have been given a huge blow as the Bundesliga star officially confirmed that he has agreed personal terms to join Borussia Dortmund ahead of a potential transfer this summer.
The Belgian attacker, who is the younger brother to Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, has out up an impressive form for his German club finding the back of the net 12 times and also creating 11 assists in all competitions this season.
Reports coming from DH claims that English outfit Liverpool was linked with the Belgian in hopes of bringing him back to England and join his older brother. The Reds were reported to have made an offer for the attacker.
The Sun also reported that Arsenal, who was formerly linked to attacker in January, have been keeping a watchful eye on attacker as Unai Emery is in desperate need of a winger that can find the goal post and is also a big fan of Hazard Jr.
“There are talks between Gladbach and Dortmund, yes,” Hazard speaking to Goal.
“I have a personal agreement with Dortmund. It’s out of my hands. It’s up to the clubs now.”
Dortmund is yet to agree on a transfer fee for the attacker, who is set to replace Chelsea-bound Christian Pulisic. According to the Sun Monchengladbach placed a £35 million price tag on their valued Belgian.
