As per reports, Chelsea are said to have reached an agreement with ex-Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri over the possibility of managing the Blues’ for the upcoming season.
It’s believed the Premier League are just few days away to announcing the Italian as the new manager to replace his compatriot Antonio Conte.
Should this go as planned, the Italian gaffer will surely consider the acqusition of new sigings to the team whilst also sanctioning the sale of some players present in the squad.
In light of this, it has been widely speculated that Sarri would want the signing of Juventus’ Gonzalo Higuain as Alvaro Morata replacement this summer with the Argentine widely speculated to leave Juve in a bid that will see the Serie A champions raise fund to secure the move for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Sarri is also said to be considering reunion with his former defender Kalidou Koulibaly which could see the Blues have their long-term target at the club.
In other reports, Chelsea winger Kenedy be set to undergo his medicals with Newcastle United today ahead of his season-long move to Rafael Benitez’ side this summer.
Kenedy, 22, joined the St James’ Park outfit for the second half of last season and show some glimpses of impressive performances netting two goals in 13 appearances that helped the Magpies survived relegation.
Although, the 22-year-old returned to Chelsea was present with the rest of the squad at the Cobham Training centre as prepare for the pre-season matches on Monday, but believed to hit the road on Monday evening ahead of his season-long loan to Newcastle.
