Chelsea defeated Derby County in the midweek Carabao Cup tie and next up for the Blues will be against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.
Chelsea are currently sitting third place on the table, two points behind join league leaders Manchester City and Liverpool. Palace on the other hand, put an end to Arsenal’s brilliant winning run streak last weekend and remains to be seen whether Roy Hodgson’s men can stop Maurizio Sarri’s men from earning all three points as well.
As far as team news is concerned, Sky Sports claim the Blues playmaker Eden Hazard is set to return and will be fit to play against Palace which will see him playing alongside Willian/Pedro and Morata/Giroud in the attack.
In the midfield, this should comprises of Jorginho and Ross Barkley, replacing the duo of Kovacic and Fabregas to start with N’Golo Kante.
The likes of Marcos Alonso, Rudiger, David Luis and Azpilicueta should also return to start in defense while Arrizabalaga should replace Caballero between the sticks.
That said, below is how the Blues will lineup in a 4-2-3-1 starting XI vs Palace:
